The Deputy Upper West Regional Minister Hon. Amidu Issahaku Chinnia was the admiration of the crowd as he filed his nomination to contest the Sisaala East Constituency Parliamentary seat in Tumu, the Municipal capital of Sisaala East.
His arrival in Tumu at the party’s constituency office attracted many from all walks within and outside the constituency including chiefs, religious heads, party faithful, and general public amidst jubilation and celebration.
Hon. Chinnia with his team added a bankers draft of fifty thousand Ghana cedis to an already submitted two thousand cedis to the constituency party officials as nomination and filing fee respectively for inspection and continued to the Tumu community centre for the final launch of the campaign.
His campaign manager, Mr.Benin Sulemani pledged an in-house campaign devoid of insult and any form of attack, he said the party is above anyone’s personal interest and that their campaign is to speak the good work of government and Hon.Chinnia Issahaku.
He was emphatic that as a team, sharing is their hallmark and delegates are four hundred and fifty which they are ready to give 150 delegates the rest of the candidates and also pick 300 to emerge the victor in the upcoming primaries.
According to Hon.Chinnia Amidu” my campaign manager had spoken and I want to give an assurance that irrespective of the outcome of this parliamentary primaries, I am committed to supporting the NPP to succeed in election 2020, I have been at the helm of affairs of this party for a very long time and have been committed and served as constituency secretary severally and I know what it means for the party to be in power, we are in government now and we have done so much, the party need four more years so that we can do more for Ghana and for that matter Sisaala east and so my commitment to supporting the outcome of this election is not in doubt” Hon. Chinnia used the platform to churn out other developmental achievements the current administration embarked on in the constituency.
